An anthroposophical community for adults with special needs, founded in 2003. We provide housing with daily activities under the Swedish LSS act.

Personal development out of community
Essential to us is to support and assist the person with special needs in their own personal development, by creating an atmosphere of common ground with so-called normal people.
Co-workers work side by side in the workshops, and the cultural side of life is part of the weekly rhythm, as is the celebration of the annual festivals, which strengthen and harmonise life in general.

The estate
Two hectares of park-like garden
Camphill Häggatorp is an old estate with three buildings, one for workshops and storage and two for living. The estate is two hectares, largely covered by a park-like garden.
It lies just outside the village of Vedum, between Herrljunga and Vara.

Member of Svenska Vård
Camphill Häggatorp is part of Svenska Vård, a trade association for private providers of care, rehabilitation and education for people in need of special care.

Our membership gives us a network of colleagues who work actively to improve the quality of life for people with disabilities, and a forum for dialogue and education.
